Chief Executive Officer
Matthew Gitelis started his career as a financial analyst covering mergers & acquisitions and capital raises for mid-market clients based in Chicago, New York, and Toronto. After leaving the world of Wall Street, he worked as a senior researcher at NorthShore University HealthSystem and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago where he learned firsthand the many challenges facing healthcare data & analytics professionals. He is an author on more than 30 peer reviewed papers and has presented at academic meetings around the world. He is currently on a leave of absence from Rush Medical College while he leads the team at PatientIQ.
Chief Product Officer
Jimmy Skuros leads Product innovation at PatientIQ. He enjoys building a great team, understanding technical architecture and is passionate about designing a great user experience. He enjoys finding elegant solutions to complex technical & user experience challenges. Most recently coming from FinTech, he has previously held a variety of product roles in the technology sector in Chicago including running Product at two high-growth startups. Jimmy’s core competency lies in designing end to end systems that can scale. He holds a degree in Information Systems with a minor in Informatics from University of Illinois.
Adam Yanke MD, PhD
Head of Research & Strategic Development
Adam Yanke is an Orthopedic Surgeon that is currently in practice as a clinician scientist focusing on shoulder and knee disorders. His post graduate training was performed at Rush University and concluded in a Sports Medicine Fellowship as well as a Doctorate in Biochemistry. This combination has allowed him to not only provide standard and emerging techniques in clinical care but also involves innovative clinical and basic science research. Through working as a clinician, researcher, developer, and end user of PatientIQ, Dr. Yanke works to improve research workflows and analysis methods along the entire spectrum of the process.
Director of Engineering
Yuri Lapitsky is the Director of Engineering at PatientIQ and leads the engineering efforts in the company. He holds MSc. degree in Applied Math. Yuri is passionate about solution architectures and closing the gap between product management and engineering teams. Yuri Lapitsky worked as CTO in a Chicago based software consulting company where he was involved in multiple projects in different industries including FinTech, online care giving, retail business intelligence, clinical trials management, and e-commerce. Before that he was a software engineer and architect in a telecommunication billing solutions company serving biggest European providers.
Director of Analytics
Elaine Lee is the Director of Analytics at PatientIQ, providing guidance on the best ways to derive insight from data while emphasizing repeatable and scalable solutions. Prior to joining PatientIQ, she was the senior engineer on the Data Services team at Avant, where she was integral to building the company’s data lake and distributed computing applications to process data. She has also been a data scientist at Civis Analytics, a machine learning engineer at a small tech startup, and an analyst for the US federal government. She is passionate about building robust data analysis systems and has presented at conferences on the subject. She holds degrees from Harvard and Carnegie Mellon.
Director of Quality Assurance
Jose Natalini is the Director of Quality Assurance at PatientIQ and is responsible for ensuring our team maintains high standards of quality before our product reaches our customers. He has an extensive career in quality assurance and test automation and has worked at several of the largest technology companies in the world. He has built quality teams and automation frameworks for different programming languages, architectures and different business domains. He is passionate about constantly improving the product quality in all its aspects, really enjoys teamwork and challenges himself and his colleagues in finding creative and efficient solutions to challenging problems.
