PatientIQ Advances Information Security by Achieving SOC 2 Type II Compliance

CHICAGO, IL – April 11 2023 – PatientIQ announced today its most recent milestone in advancing its information security program where it has achieved SOC 2 Type II compliance in accordance with American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards for SOC for Service Organizations also known as SSAE 18. Achieving this standard with an unqualified opinion serves as third-party industry validation that PatientIQ continues to provide enterprise-level security for customers’ data stored on the PatientIQ platform.

PatientIQ was audited by Prescient Assurance , a leader in security and compliance attestation for B2B, SAAS companies worldwide. Prescient Assurance is a registered public accounting in the US and Canada and provides risk management and assurance services.

By obtaining an unqualified opinion on a SOC 2 Type II audit report, PatientIQ provides both current and potential customers with proof that they comply with the Trust Services Criteria (TSC)established by the AICPA, which ensures that data is securely and accurately managed and processed in the areas of Security, Confidentiality, Processing Integrity, and Availability.

“Investing in our information security program and independent auditor assessments is a critical long-term investment to our business and core to our mission at PatientIQ.  Our customers entrust us with their patient data and we do not take this responsibility lightly,” said Matthew Gitelis, CEO, PatientIQ. "We are very pleased to have earned this designation. Ensuring the security of the patient data that we gather on behalf of our clients is our primary concern, and we are proud to have our efforts recognized.”
